At Expedition 5.0, we take great pride in the design, fabrication, and installation of custom stainlesssteel performance exhaust systems. Each system is purpose-built to complement your vehicle’s enhanced power output following an ECU remap chosen by each client.

To promote safe engine operating temperatures post-remap, we may increase the diameter of the exhaust piping to accommodate elevated performance levels. However, due to spatial constraints inherent to each vehicle, the installation of larger or more advanced silencing components may not always be feasible. 

​

As a result, the combination of increased pipe diameter, elevated turbo boost, and enriched fuelling can lead to higher exhaust gas pressures. These pressures may alter the sound profile of the vehicle—particularly in SUVs fitted with 76mm or larger pipework—resulting in a noticeable droning effect under heavy acceleration.

We urge all clients to fully understand and acknowledge the acoustic and performance characteristics of the final product prior to the commencement of any work. Although every system is meticulously engineered, we cannot guarantee that the resulting sound will align with individual preferences or sensitivities. Perceptions of sound are inherently subjective and may vary significantly between individuals, especially those using hearing aids or similar devices.

Please note, once a design and system configuration has been approved and fabrication has commenced, no modifications can be made. Post-installation alterations are not permitted, as stainless-steel components, once cut or welded, may become compromised and no longer meet our structural or safety standards.
